from 958 reviewsA very exciting book. I plan to gift another to our middle school ELA teacher!!
The adventures of Father Otto in his parish, a parish that could be in any city, remind us that as Catholics we must be joyful in God, trust in Christ and be bearers of his message. The life he portrays is not a past or pre-conciliar time. On the contrary, it is the Truth that continues and that we must continue to live, without going into experiments or whims. It is to embody the Gospel even in the smallest things, even in smiles.
These books are the best purchase I’ve made in a while. Thinking of getting more for my Parish priests!
All four kids love this series (10, 8, 6, and 4 yrs old). It’s so true and creative, wholesome and fantastic artwork. I recommend it to everyone I know. Best of all, it’s encouraged my 8 year old son to altar serve. Evangelism through comedy - win!!
We love these comics. We first found you all when a neighbor gave my sons a bunch of old comics. I looked through them and thought there has to be something better. And I found voyage. I told the boys I was buying a bunch of comics to trade them. They love them. They are look at them sooo often and have been very inspiring. Thank you!! I will be putting in another order soon to get more of the messages from our lady comic. We gift scapulars for first communion gifts and plan to gift this too. It was one of the coolest ways to teach about the scapular I have found. I can’t wait for more!!
This order was a birthday gift for a friend. We liked it so much we gifted it to him!
Awesome book for teaching catechism kids!! Pictures are great and lead to in depth discussions!!
We leave the book on our coffee table and many of our friends and family have enjoyed picking it up and reading a page or two! My teens love it! It reminds our family of the small comic strips that used to be in our church bulletin.
Awesome book. Very clever way to write about sacraments and make it interesting for kids
The best ever way, by comic book, to reach teenagers. Bought a bunch and my grandsons loved reading this, even the non-Catholic grandson-in-law.
Gives a good explanation of the Brown Scapular in a fun way. Although you have keep an eye on some angels
my confirmation student found it very interesting (i've become a mobile library with a bunch of comic books) and hopefully many other students will find the comic books interesting too
This is always being checked out in the parish library. The kids love Voyage Comics!
Gets the point accross with a curious way of wanting more, kids are saying “where did he go? And who was that?
I bought it for the kids, but found myself reading with wide eyes saying, "I didn't know that!" Technically: well-rendered drawings, well-written story with a logical layout and great colors. Super attractive issue. I am looking forward to the next issue! You should buy this for your tweens and teens.
